BLACK LION

BLACK LION

The name of this tea was chosen as the image of a black lion crossed Samantha's mind after the first sip.

An afternoon pick-me-up type of tea, one like a roar of a lion. In this blend there is a combination of eloquent beauty and bold flavour.

Ingredient Highlights:

  • Black tea from the Tonganagaon Assam region of India boasts of rich, full-bodied flavour and malty undertones. Black tea is stimulating and a source of beneficial antioxidants.

  • NIH grown raspberry leaf is a source of minerals and electrolytes. Known for its beneficial support for women during pregnancy, raspberry leaf has the ability to strengthen, tone and nourish the blood in everyday use.

  • Rosehips are a source of bioflavenoids and vitamins, including vitamin C.

  • Rose petals are a beautiful touch of colour to this tea blend, providing vibrant colour, antioxidants and clarifying energy due to their toning action.

  • Toasted chicory root provides Earthy notes, harnessing nutrients from deep in the soil via its tap root. Especially when toasted, chicory is loved for its coffee substitute flavour. Similar to dandelion root, chicory supports liver detoxification, digestion and blood purification.

  • Stevia leaf is uniquely a sweet leaf, supporting the floral undertone of this tea.
