Nutrition Appointment
Hi, I'm Samantha Guyatt, a co-owner of Nature IS Health. Are you interested in taking a deep dive into your diet?
A one hour appointment with me can assess your lifestyle goals, related to all things food and nutrition.
Now let's see, will you benefit from a nutrition appointment?
- Do you have lingering health concerns that may be triggered by the quality of your diet?
- Do you have difficulty losing weight or feel as though you may have hormonal imbalance?
- Do you have health or fitness goals and believe that meal quality is holding you back?
- Are you an athlete in need of diet tips to boost recovery and reduce inflammation?
- Are you unsure of what food or brands to buy at the grocery store, or how to stock your kitchen for you and your family?
Our website here is packed with information about health and nutrition, but perhaps you do not know where to start, or what ideas are best suited for your lifestyle. Besides, hands-on conversation is often a better suited learning environment for most people.
In that case, 1 hour appointments are available both on weekdays and weekends, virtual or in-person at a local coffee shop. Please request an appointment and we can discuss a time that best suits both our schedules. Please note, I am currently on maternity leave, meaning my schedule is flexible, but I am working around my husbands schedule, so appointments can have my undivided attention.

A follow-up phone chat or virtual meet-up is included with each appointment, approximately ~20 minutes and pre-scheduled 2 weeks later. In this check-in we will touch on how realistic the appointment ideas have been applied into your lifestyle, plus answer any questions you might have.
From there you can schedule further follow-ups, if you feel check-ins will keep you on track.

Why book with me?
Firstly, I love to chat about food and nutrition! Holistic nutrition has been my passion and livelihood for over 10 years. I have worked in the supplement industry, on farms, in the food industry and as a nutrition consultant.
I've had my fair share of food and substance obsessions, restrictions and perhaps we can even say addictions. I understand many of the common issues plaguing today's society, and have struggled with some of them myself.
More about my story:
I graduated from university with a bachelors of physical education, where I was fascinated in biology, sport nutrition, and truly immersed in the importance of an active lifestyle. I was a full-time honor student and played on the varsity women's volleyball team, and later the cross-country team.
In the summers during university, I pushed my body to the limit, tree planting out in Western Canada, living out of a tent for 4 months of the year. It was here I became intrigued in the wilderness by the medicinal properties in plants.
A few years after university, I got a diploma in holistic nutrition, with a bonus course on holistic fertility, pregnancy, & early childhood nutrition. This program sparked my interest in Ayurveda and herbal medicine. At this time, I established a regular yoga practice, continuing that today.
Today I am an avid gardener, co-owner of Nature IS Health, a wellness brand I created with my husband. My full time job is as a postal worker, so my health is very important to me! The state of my health completely reflects on my ability to perform my job. For fun my husband and I love to camp and enter races, our last one was a half trail marathon- it was intense!
We have recently welcomed our first baby girl. So I am happy to share the information I learned in my holistic fertility, pregnancy and early childhood course, now that I have had the chance to apply it first hand!
Thank you for your interest in booking a nutrition appointment, if you think it may benefit you, or if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.
