Organic genmaicha green tea, boasts a delightful nutty undertone from toasted, popped brown rice kernels.
In herbal medicine 'nutritives' are plants known to contain a variety of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and antioxidants. They are utilized to boost overall health and maintenance.
Ingredient Highlights:
- NIH grown raspberry leaf for reproductive and digestive health.
- NIH grown stinging nettle for urinary health, iron and mineral support, allergies and immune balance.
- NIH grown catnip for nervous tension and relaxation.
- Organic genmaicha green tea to clear the mind, a source of antioxidants and flavour.
- Licorice root provides lovely flavour. It is known as a demulcent because of how it soothes the digestive lining, and can be used for sore throat. It is also considered an alternative because of it's ability to purify the blood.
- Organic lemon peel for flavour, antioxidants and flavonoids.
- Organic stevia leaf for a tiny bit of sweetness.
Flavour- earthy, neutral, slight bitter and nutty undertone
8oz jar has ~35g for lighter teas - up to ~50g for heavier teas.
1/2tsp is a serving size for single tea cup, 1tsp for a large mug.
The 8oz jar has over 70 1/2 tsp servings!
Steep 2-5mins.
Ingredients:
Raspberry leaf, stinging nettle, catnip, licorice root, organic lemon peel, stevia leaf
How to Use:
Use with a mesh strainer, compostable tea sachet, or tea press.
Boil water and allow for it settle. Place loose tea into vesicle and cover with boiled water. Allow for it to steep 2-5 minutes with a lid to trap the essential oils. Strain and enjoy!
