ZINC CREAM
Created with a diaper stand in mind, this versatile mineral-rich cream comes in handy for the whole family- pets included!
Infused low and slow with flowers from the NIH organic garden, Zinc Cream is an excellent choice for sensitive skin, rashy spots, dry/itchy spots, diaper bum and hot spots.
The added arrowroot powder is there to absorb excess moisture that lingers in irritated, rashy skin.
Zinc is excellent for blocking the sun's rays, but check out our Sun Cream listing that has a better suited essential oil blend to repel bugs, if a daily face or body cream with zinc, is what you are looking for.
Ingredient Highlights:
- Tallow - contains fatty acids similar to human skin barrier, and naturally occurring vitamin A to nourish and heal skin structure.
- Non-nano Zinc Oxide - effectively soothes the skin, especially red, inflammation, and helps create a protective barrier.
- Local Sunflower Oil - light-weight and moisturizing oil that does not clog pores.
- Fair-trade Organic Shea Butter - a buttery plant that provides deep nourishment and gliding texture.
- Fair-trade Organic Cacao Butter - a pleasant scent, and helps to improve skin's elasticity.
- Local Beeswax - a golden shield to protects the skin from the elements and abrasion, and locks hydration inside.
- Yarrow - reknowned for it's skin healing abilities, yarrow is a wildflower that grows rampant in our landscape, and is used in herbal medicine for wound healing.
- Lavender - calms red, is antiseptic and smells divine.
- Tea tree - very effective anti-fungal and anti-bacteria to naturally prevent and treat infection.
- Nature IS Health Flower Oil Infusion; which includes hops, horsetail, lavender, chamomile, rose, yarrow and/or calendula. Each of these vibrant flowers has been carefully selected and grown in our organic ingredient garden for their unique healing properties. Flowers are harvested at their peak, ensuring the essential oils are retained, and capturing the essence of their nature.
Ingredients:
Fair-trade organic shea butter, pasture raised beef fat (tallow), fair-trade organic cacao butter, local golden beeswax, local cold pressed sunflower oil, NIH garden flower infusion {rose, chamomile, lavender, yarrow, calendula, horsetail}, organic castor oil, non-nano zinc oxide, arrowroot powder, fresh aloe jelly, organic apple cider vinegar, organic essential oils: lavender, tea tree.
How to Use:
For quick use, warm up hands and rub product in a circular motion, around the surface of the tin.
For more liberal use, extract a small amount of product using the back of your nail and warm up it up, spreading it in the center of your palm, then apply to designated area.
Due to the arrowroot powder in this product, there is a soft fibrous grit, that is there to absorb the lingering moisture that usually accompanies rashy areas.
Product Life:
About 5-9 months. Things that impact the shelf life- temperature, humidity, times the product is opened and contamination via use.
For longer shelf life please store in a cool, dark environment. Always use clean hands when accessing the product and keep sealed.
