The perfect cookie dough cookies!
The perfect cookie dough cookies!

This recipe is for the ultimate GIANT cookiedough-like chocolate chip cookies.. or you can reduce the oven temperature and make smaller, delicious, chewy cookies.

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 1/4 cup Canadian all purpose flour

  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1 tsp Canadian corn starch - no GMO, even better!

  • Dash of sea salt

Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup softened local butter

  • 3/4 cup brown sugar

  • 1/4 cup white sugar

  • 2 medium pastured eggs

Cream the wet ingredients until light in colour, I use a fork and then a whisk.

Whisk the dry ingredients together.

Combine the wet and dry, adding the dry into the wet.

Stir in 1-1.5 cups of chocolate chips.

Scoop out balls of dough onto silicone lined trays (or parchment). Lightly press the balls to ensure center bakes through.

This makes 8-10 giant cookies, 4 or 5 cookies per sheet @350F - 13-15 minutes.

or 12 cookies at 325F for 20 minutes.

If the dough gets over worked when mixing in the final stages (it's too sticky to work with), pop it in the fridge for 20 minutes before scooping it out onto cookie sheets.

Carefully move cookies from tray to a wire rack to COMPLETELY set.

These cookies need to set BEFORE you eat them!

It's tough, but you must control yourself! XP

Thanks so much for reading, all the best from one cookie monster to another!
