I like this in the winter.


  • Boil the amount of water you want to drink

  • Slice a thick slice of lemon to flavour it

  • Add a pinch of sea salt

  • a little pinch of za'atar

  • 2 strings of lemongrass

  • Add the water once it has calmed down from boiling

  • Allow to steep and cool to your favourite drinking temperature

  • If you want to strain it, do so

Za'atar is a spice blend that traditionally is thyme, sumac, oregano, thyme, savory, and toasted sesame seeds.

The plants contain antioxidants and benefit all over health, especially digestion, immune and circulation.
